Roman walks

Learn Italian while walking around Rome

This course consists in 8 meet ups of 2 hours each that will help you discover popular and hidden areas of the eternal city. Let’s start speaking Italian from scratch, start dealing with survival sentences. Get to know popular idioms, dive into the basics, let your curiosity drive your language skills to the next level, in a fun, engaging way!

The walks are not intended as guided tours, but every single neighborhood will offer a unique scenario and new hints on how to approach the Italian language and start speaking about ourselves, the environment, our feelings, the italian culture and get to know useful sentences concerning food, travel, shopping, art, depending on the interests of the students and its present level, which will be defined during the first meeting.

Meetings will be planned in the slot 10am to 6pm, will include a walk and a stop in the park or in nice local outdoor cafés. Any optional drink/food is not included.

They may also include some creative activity as sketching!

If you enjoyed the experience, you can plan some more classes according to your schedule.

The student will interact with the teacher everyday via email or whatsapp not only to fix appointments but also to keep a journal of their journey and explore the lexicon more deeply. The teacher will provide a google drive chart with some useful extra materials.

The course doesn’t include any text book, but one will be advised during the first lesson.

The student will be given a genuine list of local must see, hidden gems, best restaurants and cafés, and may be introduced upon request to local professionals, e.g. beauty centers, yoga teachers, reiki masters, store managers at Gucci, Chanel,  etc.

The programme includes an extra  30 minutes chat via zoom once back home to revise the entire journal, clarify any doubts, give further advice on how to keep on practicing the language!
